The company owns more than 950 locomotives and multiple units. In November 2022, Alpha Trains ordered 15 more Vectron locomotives. The new Vectron MS and AC locomotives with a maximum output of 6.4 megawatts and a maximum speed of 200 km/h round out the existing Alpha Trains fleet. Among other routes, the locomotives are used on the Germany – Austria – Italy line.
