The electromagnetic digital coupling, which has been known from the ESU Engineering Edition locomotives since the end of 2021 and has been optimized many times is now also available separately for retrofitting vehicles with an NEM shaft.


Thanks to the integrated height adjustment, the coupler can be easily adapted to the locomotive intended for retrofitting. Two highly flexible cables with two-pin plugs (suitable for some ESU locomotives) are already soldered to the coupler.

The coupling couples and uncouples all bow couplings commonly available on the market (also made of magnetic material), the ESU and Roco® universal couplings and the Märklin® short coupling.

An ESU LokSound 5 or LokPilot 5 is strongly recommended for control, as these have the appropriate control mode.
